Fantasy Creature Portraits - Concept Art

In this task was I gonna design creature heads that might have been documented and drawn by one of the greatest creature zoologist in this universe I try to bring to life.
All of these heads must be fantastical creatures, not just sketches of real animals. Each should represent a unique beast and reflect the possible interesting environment they might have come from.
Bodies was not required for this task, just heads and necks. The goal here is to show as much variety and imagination as possible with the least amount of drawings.
I focused on creatures that I imagined could live in a prehistoric jungle/savannah/coast environment and aim for some consistent level of detail and realism in a lineart style.
I made 12 sketches, color tests of my favorites, one presentation sheet of possible material, moodboard & references from each final design and last a presentation sheet of my favorite three creature designs.
